Does this still work? bgeorge says one of the reasons they are changing the long bio HTML capability is to avoid streamers hotlinking images such as this. I'm pretty sure at least the "alt" part do…
Joining a team doesn't remove your chat. The active stream's chat is not shown on the team page but still have access to it on your channel page. So there isn't really any disadvantage to joining a team.
If its not happening in all channels then you are not globally locked out. There is no notification when you attempt to chat in a channel where you are banned so the only why you would know is if your messages don't appear.

Thanks, so in other words anyone can stream in a higher resolution however it just means that the viewers won't have a choice to lower it if their internet cannot handle viewing a higher quality ?
Correct.

bgeorge said the reason for the new changes was to stop this. But it doesn't stop anything, it just gimps legitimate users' twitch channels.
I said it was one of many reasons for the change, not the complete reason.
The player now logically joins the parts of a broadcast together into one archive that is the entire length of the cast. The parts are still there but the player handles it all behind the scenes.

Well why does flagcounter? It must be freely available somewhere...
They have access to that information because you are downloading an image for their server, not because Twitch is providing it to them.
Re: Panels
No alignment options. You can drag panels to re-order them. Send feedback to feedback@twitch.tv if you don't like how it works currently.
Re: XSplit
It uses the Twitch/JTV API so it would not have access to viewer IP information.
Just to be clear, tracking or logging of viewer IP information by Twitch users is not allowed. If you have access to that information from Flagcounter.com then please remove it from your channel.
