redirected every single time.

so. I clicked a http://de.twitch.tv link for a stream using IE.
after that I was stuck on the DE language. I had to clean my cache to get rid of it. and now when I type www.twitch.tv I get redirected to http://sv.twitch.tv
every single time. with FireFox I can just type in whatever and it works. but not with IE. I'm stuck on http://sv.twitch.tv (Sweden) now. but since I want to use www and not land code for the site because that solves the issue with chat loading forever and ever.

how can I fix this?

edit: uhm. scratch that. now it's the same in FireFox too for some reason. sigh.

Your IP is being geo'd to that country's language subdomain.

@tabako , is there any way to get around that, or are language specific subdomains forced?

    Does "en.twitch.tv" work?

What happens when you click on "English" in the language selector (bottom right corner of the page).

I've gotten a few reports of this, but don't really know what's causing it.
  • "en" works. then I try www. and it sends me right back to "sv".

changing languge at the bottom works too but I want plain "www" if possible. since language specific subdomains screws up with chat load in EU. read this in another post about chat problems.

okay. so I changed to spanish and then after that used "www" and that worked for some reason.

  • tried the spanish thing again and then typing "www". won't work now. this redirecting is really pissing me off.
