Twitch Randomly Starts New Videos, cutting out on action while streaming

I've been streaming EVE online for the past week, and three times now twitch has randomly stopped my current video, and started a new one with a few minute gap between them. I'm using Adobe FME 3.2 to stream with VHScrnCap. The gap has caused me to lose footage of three fights that have occurred. I tried looking in settings to see if maybe I was using a hotkey in EVE that was interrupting the stream because it always happens right before fights but I couldn't see any. The weirdest thing is viewers do not appear to have a gap in playback. I frequently press the F1 through F3 or F4 keys when initiating a fight in EVE. If anybody has any insight to this, it would be great.

Can you explain this? So your viewers do not have issues with stream, but VODs have gaps in them? Just trying to grasp exactly what is going on.
  • Right exactly, like while people are watching, they see everything without issue and no gaps or black screens in playback, but when I go back to the vods to highlight the fights so people don't have to page through 1-2hrs of footage to find them, there will be multiple vods with a few minute gaps between them. Like today for example. I had a 39 minute one and a 16 minute one, and there was a 2-3 minute fight that occurred between them  and was completely absent from both vods. And my stream logs showed appropriate stream time of the full ~1hr with no dropped frames or gaps in playback.
  • Hmm, that does sound like a bug. Report it here:  http://www.twitch.tv/bug_reports/new

If you download them using this does it still have the blank spots? Just want to verify that.
  • I already deleted the bugged clips and highlighted what I could out of them. But the footage wasn't just blank spots, it would literally just end the video and start a new one randomly a few minutes later
  • Just did it again, cut video off at 1hr30min and started another, nothing in stream logs, no complaints from viewers.
  • It also lost like a huge portion of the beginning of the stream this time as well, at least 30mins.
