Global Chat ban how long does it last 8 or 24 hours

hey anyone know seeing conflicting answers 

cant be a global ban because my other account can chat fine in the certain channel must be a global chat ban anyone know?

    If you are only having issues in one chatroom it is not a global ban. Global ban's now last 8hrs.

    No its all Chat rooms...its been longer than 8 HOURS and people still cant see what i type???
