Trouble streaming in 720p with xsplit

Hi I have just upgraded my internet speeds to 30 Down and 5 Upload and from what I've been told that should be more then enough for 720p streaming. I have tried it out and there was a bit of lag. The resolution is 1280x720 and the FPS is 25.00 the preset is medium the quality is 7 and the bitrate is 400.
Please reply as I would be MUCH grateful
