Very very bad video quality on certain live streams

For certain live streams I have this problem where the stream shows a very fuzzy and jittering (i.e. like as if the screen resolution is constantly changing) green and grey hue screen instead of the actual stream. Occassionally I see the actual video for a split second and then the screen reverts back to fuzzy green/grey. Note for many streams I have no trouble, just for certain streams I have this strange problem.

Anyone know what my problem might be and how it might be fixed?

Some of my system specs:
HP ENVY 15 laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5830 graphics card.
1920x1080 computer screen with 32 bpp

Can you provide a screenshot? Can you link the channels this happens in? 

Sounds like a Flash Player issue. Try installing the latest version. If that doesn't help, check if there is a new version of drivers for your graphics card.

What browser does this happen in? All of them?

Can you try right clicking on the stream, going to settings, and disabling Hardware Acceleration?
