This is the place where we want the help of you, the community, to help each other in posting tutorials of your specific setup!
If you understand a lot about broadcasting, and know your setup like the back of your hand, post any information you can to help out new users! You may also want to check up on the Technical Support section to see if people have specific questions you can help with!
When posting a tutorial, try to have a title that is short, yet informative to what type of setup you are talking about. If you are explaining how to stream a PC game with Xsplit, mention that! The more detail the better!
If we see any tutorials that are particularly useful, we may sticky them to the top of the forum, so they get noticed by everyone! But any information and help is always appreciated.
@skilletpov It depends on the streamer you're using. With Xsplit, you can add a screen region which can be as big or as small as you need it.
For Dynex, you just drag and drop the "D" when you start the program. I'm not sure of other programs, but the first question should be, which app are you using?
My question is about chat. I can't see it while I'm playing a game and I have no idea how to set up mIRC or what I need to do to talk to people.
If your interested in creating a live stream and don't know how; Read through some of the tutorials and make a thread asking for help in the Technical Support section.
im new to the whole streaming thing and im just wondering about the different types of streaming software which ones are reliabe which ones are perfered which ones are noob friendly lol
i saw the Xsplit and Dynex and i think another called Dynno or something like that but yeah im thinking of streaming SC2 some WoW and Civ3 and such
I would like to know how to add things to my page. EX I see people have like a header saying RulesThen under the Rules it will have rules the streamer has posted, along with computer specs, bio ect ect. I heard you had to use xhtml codes for this but when I did it wouldn't show up or anything, any help would be awesome.
Here is a friend of mine and I wanted you guys to see what I was referring to
I would want things like this on my page and put in the youtube thing. I know I mentioned he is my friend and I am sure I will be asked, why not ask him, just to let you know I did ask him and he hasn't been on yet to let me know, so I came here maybe to get a faster answer, again thanks
@sowcamoflauge - Yes, you can use HTML codes in the Long Bio section of your profile. However, not all HTML tags are supported so that's probably why yours is getting cleared when you attempt to save it. A syntax error could cause this as well (such as mismatched opening and closing tags).
I would suggest start out small and building up your Bio piece by piece so you know where you went wrong if it does not save properly.
I have bought XSplit Premium and got a members account on Justin.tv and when i stream my game (SC2) and i look for the stream on twitch.tv by going to games selecting SC2 and go to the last page where the least viewed streams are and i dont see my stream how do i make it so people can see my stream?
