Channel Won't Load

I recently began streaming on JTV, but I noticed my category was set to Auto. I went into my channel options to change it to Gaming. The settings saved fine and when I went to check my channel to see if it worked, it started loading it on Twitch as I expected it would. Except it didn't load; it just showed me a blank screen, said it loaded 7% and 1 element, but didn't load anymore. I asked a couple of friends to try and they said they kept getting redirected between Twitch and JTV. I went back to Channel Settings and put it back on Auto, and my channel worked again.

Any ideas why it won't work when the topic is set to Gaming?
