Is Streaming Videogame Music allowed?

Since I'm confused about the whole streaming music thing not being allowed, I was wondering if streaming music that's from videogames (a game's original soundtrack) while doing things is okay?

I'm wondering about if this is allowed, if I ever decide to do a non-gaming stream once in a while that would still be gaming related. I'm not completely sure if having game music playing in the background is allowed or not.

Technically if you're not playing the game itself, and the soundtrack has been released, then you run into the same licensing issues as any other music.
