oppressive behavoir from MOD's

Is it in the MOD's jurisdiction to ban or "Time out" individuals for typing in all caps?

esp when the individuals being banned arent typing anything hateful, abusive or negative.

they are simply being enthusiastic and down right silly.

if it is not.

then im reporting raitatsu.

he banned me for asking if it is a legitimate reason to ban someone esle for typing in all caps.

that in my defense is abusing power.

Yes, they can ban you for talking in caps if they wish and a large number of channel will enforce it (usually automatically with a bot). Channel moderation is up to the discretion of the channel owner and their moderators.

If you don't like it then you will need to contact the channel owner directly with your complaint or just don't watch their channel.

Mods and broadcasters can ban you for any reason at all. The broadcaster owns the room and can make the rules. If you are not happy with a decision a mod makes, you need to talk to the broadcaster about it. There is nothing we can do unless the mod is breaking sitewide rules (such as racism, for example)
