Whenever I load up a streams - any stream - the screen stays black with no audio. When I pause the stream, I'll see the thumbnail, but when I unpause, I only see the red "Live" with number of viewers in the upper right hand corner.
Sometimes the stream will work when I have it unpaused and the streamer restarts their stream. But otherwise, it just stays black.
I've deleted all cookies for twitch, cleared all local storage data, and my flash is completely up to date. I'm using the most up to date Firefox browser.
How can I fix this so I can get back to watching streams?

The resolution options won't load with the stream, and that's how I know it won't work. Sometimes when I pause and unpause the stream it will work for a little bit, but ultimately it just does not work.
Twitch support please respond.

I switched browsers (Aurora and IE, originally on Firefox), still nothing worked. Disabled all add-ons, still nothing worked. Tried updating flash, but it's the most recent version. Cleared all local storage data and reloaded, still it didn't work.
Honestly stumped as all hell. Missing out on esports doesn't feel good either.

I'm currently unable to do so. I hope someone else can give it a try.
Other people on the Internet that I know do not see to have the same problem, but I can't test another computer on my connection.
I just don't know why and it does that with 2 different browsers and on 2 different computers...
Any kind of help would be welcome!
Thanks in advance!
If I was the only one with the problem, then I would just assume there was an issue with my connection alone - but this seems to be affecting others.
I hope this helps in some way towards a solution.
I'm having the same issue.
I cannot watch any streams from twitch at the moment. They are all black screens.
Anyone know why?
I have just recently tested the same computer on a different connection,
and now the twitch streams are working. I'm unsure if this is really
helpful in solving whatever the problem is at large. What it is about
the connections to make them unstable enough for the streams?
