Mod log in Dashboard always empty

Hey folks!
So I started streaming on TwitchTV about a week or two ago now and I noticed a bit of a problem with the Dashboard. I know for a fact that at least 2 viewers got timed out/banned from my channel by now, except my Activity log on the Dashboard keeps telling me that there has been "No Chat activity yet", which basically means the Dashboard feature is rendered absolutely useless for me should I ever want to find out which mod did what on my channel.
Is that a common problem and if so, can it be fixed? Or is it just a setting I have to change somewhere?
