twitch.tv on PS3

Hi,

a friend of mine is using the PS3 browser to browse the internet (no computer/money issues, long story) - twitch.tv worked fine like 2 weeks ago, but now it's not working at all. is there a possibility to get it working again? or could you force sony to upgrade their shitty browser?
