Black Magic Intensity Extreme + Mac Book Pro + Streaming to Twitch

Hi There, I've just picked up an Intensity Extreme and I am trying to get a fighting game stream setup to stream to Twitch.TV. I don't have the funds to puchase Wirecast. I've got Camtwist and FME installed but I'm not sure on how the setup of this should go. From what I've learned I need to pipe the video into CamTwist and then pipe CamTwist into FME but... The software I've got EyeTV doesn't pickup the Intensity Extreme to pipe it into CamTwist.

Has anyone found a solution with the Intensity Extreme yet to stream with Overlays, Multiple shots, Cameras, Audio, apart from Wirecast?

Any help or info is much appreciated. Thanks!

Well if you have a viewer program you can screen region it in, camtwist lets you do that right?
  • I try to just use Adobe for everything, but I have audio/video sync issues. Don't know if it's a hardware issue, hoping my maxed out iMac i'm getting soon will help with that. If not i'll prolly have to start streaming in Windows bootcamped and doing my video work in osx. I heard there is a way to delay the sound but don't know how to do that.
  • Well, another problem we're having is that the Black Magic Extreme doesn't show up in boot camp, I don't think there are windows drivers for Thunderbolt yet :(

This device is so new that there aren't many solutions for it yet. Kind of a bummer because its really an amazing piece of hardware.
  • I am not sure if you ever found your answer to this. In cam twist you can select a webam and the black magic will be an option under the web cam options.
