Issue with stuttering above 30FPS

Myself and a friend have recently tested streams above 30FPS and found that they incur heavy stream stutter. The archives have perfect video, indicating all data is getting to the server. From what we've gathered, it seems the ad servers are interfering with the data process in some manner, for the live streaming portion.

I'm just curious if this is intentional. If it is, it would be nice if users could be warned not to stream above 30FPS, and might help to fix some people's stream stutter.

Stutter occurs because 60FPS takes more CPU usage and more bandwidth (to retain same quality). If you have good enough PC and enough bandwidth (To Twitch servers, not just your internet speed), you should be fine.

But I agree, 60FPS seems to affect more people since not everyone can watch it smoothly.

I watched 1080p 60FPS streams fine and I'm from Croatia. There are no Twitch servers anywhere close around here. It all depends on the connection quality, and enough system resources.

Xsplit warns you when you set the stream fps to higher than 30, and it's not really a problem on the twitch side as far as I know. Most all of my testing has shown it to be a fault on the user-side (ie: mine)
