    Just wanted to post that this is very awesome of Horror to do!    Working on editing a picture right now and read the rules, and keeping it under 30px and all other rules.     Hard at work making a emote, so just to let you know people are working on them!

    I had some big partners requesting their logos for emotes.

    Please keep in mind the reason we don't want logos is we want to try to keep all emoticons fitting some sort of emotion or purpose at least. If we add a logo it's basically just an in-chat advertisement. How would say, a McDonald's logo in chat be useful?

    Take note that a lot of emotes are people making silly expressions (some are just people smiling too) so it should give you an idea of what is most commonly accepted.

    I think before emotes are even added people should have a drop down menu  maybe in settings or as an option in design that would show all emotes and their text.

    @94miner - But the emotes are easter eggs that the users need to find on their own. Having a menu of them totally defeats that purpose.

    even though there's a fair amount of websites that have them?

    Maybe only have a third on the list, so when people such as myself get tired of trying to figure them out they can check the third that is given to them and whatever they have found out themselves.

    Sorry, secret is secret :)

    And even when a video game has secrets, websites come up showing secrets and codes. This is a similar situation to the emotes. We know sites put up the codes in lists, but that is their choice, not ours. We will continue leaving emotes a mystery, just because the mystery makes it fun.

    You said you wanted a better face for Arturo, but that is the best there is! It's the patented Arturo Sanchez Rape Face! Granted only the FGC would use it, but think of the faces you'll save from ending up like DansGame? lol.

    And the Mike Ross one has a little bit of grey on his head from when I cut the picture. Didn't notice that til later. Want it resubmitted?

    you can resubmit it if you wish. The problem with the first image is that it's incredibly hard to see!

    Hi Horror, I just have a question regarding the status of Celgaming's possible emote addition. 
    I think he has resubmitted a cartoon figure to you a while ago (not the original logo one, this new cartoonish one fits the requirements you prefer: smiling, silly expression, etc.), and you said it was fine. Is there an approximate timeline of when this may be added?

    Forgive my stupidity. I didn't even know this subforum existed prior to finding out I actually became an emoticon!~

    Thank you so much Twitch staff! It's gonna be so surreal whenever I do my usual 12+ hour stream session Monday and have it spammed endlessly (and couldn't be happier!~)

    I'd like to show my support for the BoneMom face. Because of her there was a massive influx of donations during Hurricane Sandy-thon. She has gained legend status amongst the thousands of viewers of the marathon. The submission by bonesaw577 looks great and would be a unique, worthwhile addition to the cast of emotes.
